Enjoyed staying at this place! the food was so yummy and the staff went above and beyond in taking care of us. Plus, the location was spot on - close to both the Douro Valley and the beautiful vineyards. 🍷.

The hotel was a super base for enjoying a peaceful area, just next door to port and the region, Portugal and vineyards. The double room was impeccable, included central heating, an ironing set, and coffee and tea making facilities. The location was stunning and lovely, not too far away from a medieval cathedral. We where offered a terrific service😀

The only negative aspect we found was the lack of sunshade in the pool area during the afternoon, which can be a bit uncomfortable on a hot summer day. this is a minor inconvenience compared to all the great things this hotel has to offer.
